DataLookup is a contact data API. You give us an email address, we tell you what's publicly associated with it — names, phone numbers, addresses. That's the whole thing.
The data comes from publicly available and aggregated sources. Domain registrations, public records, and other datasets that have been collected and indexed. Nothing here was obtained through any illegal means. We index what's already out there and make it searchable through a fast, simple API.
Who uses it — investigators, journalists, fraud teams, developers building enrichment pipelines, people doing due diligence. The API is straightforward enough that if you can write a curl command you can use it.
We built this because the existing options are either expensive, slow, require a credit card to even try, or are run by companies with questionable privacy practices of their own. We don't log your queries. Access is by request — email us and we'll set you up.
The data is what it is. Some of it is current, some of it is old. We don't make any guarantees about accuracy or completeness. It's a lookup tool, not a source of truth. Use it accordingly.
If you want to know what data we have associated with your email address, or want it removed, email us:
Send us the email addresses you want checked. We'll tell you what we have, and if you want it gone, we'll delete it and add you to a blocklist so future imports skip you automatically. No fees, no waiting period, no runaround. You ask once, you're out.
We process removal requests manually so it may take a few days. We'll confirm by email when it's done.
