You may use DataLookup for lawful purposes only. This means you may not use our service to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone. You may not use results to make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other purpose regulated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act or equivalent laws in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for how you use the data.
We do not monitor usage beyond what is necessary to operate the service. We do not store your queries.
Data is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or how current any record is. Do not treat results as a source of truth. Verify independently before acting on anything.
DataLookup aggregates data from publicly available and third-party sources. We do not unlawfully obtain or publish private data. If you believe data about you has been published without a lawful basis, contact us at hi@datalookup.org and we will review and remove it.
We take legal obligations seriously and comply with valid legal process. However, informal requests — emails from individuals claiming to be lawyers, threats, demand letters without backing, or vague "legal action" warnings — will not receive a response.
If you are law enforcement or have a legitimate legal request, it must come through proper legal channels: a valid court order, subpoena, or other binding legal process issued in a jurisdiction we are required to recognise. Send it to hi@datalookup.org. We will review and respond appropriately.
If you are a lawyer representing a private client: send the court documents. Without them, there is nothing to discuss.
If you want to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, see our data removal page. We process all requests, confirm when done, and add you to a permanent blocklist so future imports exclude your records automatically.
If you are located in the EU, EEA, or California, you have rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively including the right to access, portability, correction, and erasure. Email hi@datalookup.org to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
DataLookup is provided as a data lookup tool with no warranties expressed or implied. We are not liable for any decisions made based on data returned by our service, or for any damages arising from use or inability to use the service.
